THE RICHEST. THE REALEST.
They say it’s a war overseas… but what about the war inside the people?
Right now, America locked into another conflict with Iran, and the numbers don’t lie. Billions already spent in days, and talks of pushing for hundreds of billions more to keep it going . Meanwhile, back home, people fighting battles that don’t make headlines—mental health, trauma, stress, survival.
That’s the war nobody funding.
We got money for missiles, but not enough healing for minds. That ain’t new… but it’s louder now.
I ain’t speaking from theory—I’m speaking from experience. My own mental health been a battlefield. Pressure, expectations, the weight of building something bigger than yourself while carrying everything you’ve been through. Some days you sharp, some days you fighting just to stay focused. That’s real.
And it hit different when you see it early.
My g-baby, A’Raya only 6 yrs. old (granddaughter of a felon—see front cover) and already showing signs of behavioral struggles tied to emotional weight. That should wake anybody up.
Kids ain’t supposed to carry stress like grown folks. But they do—because they absorbing everything around them. Energy. Environment. Silence.
That’s how cycles start.
We can’t keep acting like mental health is optional while funding everything else like it’s urgent. Because if the mind ain’t right, nothing else gonna be right—family, money, community… none of it.
This month ain’t just about awareness.
It’s about accountability.
Check on yourself. Check on your people. Pay attention to the kids. Build environments where healing ain’t a weakness—it’s the foundation.
Because the real war?
It’s not just overseas.
It’s in the mind.
And if we don’t fight for that… we lose everything before we even realize it.

Out For Good is about giving back — not just getting out.
We know what it’s like to come from a struggle. To be part of the streets, the system, or the cycle — and to want better for the next generation. Out For Good was built for the ones ready to give back to the same neighborhoods they once helped tear down, neglect, or lose hope in.
This movement isn’t about redemption for one person—it’s about restoration for the entire community.
We believe that actual change starts when we step up, take ownership, and use what we’ve learned to rebuild what was broken.
From mentoring youth and supporting local schools to cleaning up neighborhoods and launching community programs, events,
scholarships, and contests, Out For Good helps create opportunities to do something meaningful, lasting, and healing.
We’re calling on the ones who know the streets best — the ones who’ve lived it, survived it, and now want to change it because the best leaders are those who’ve been through it and come back to make it right.
We’re not waiting for change — we are the change.
We’re Out For Good.
Mission Statement
To rebuild the same communities that raised us — by transforming lived experience into leadership, and turning past mistakes into meaningful impact.
Vision Statement
A world where every person—no matter their past—has the tools, support, and platform to rise, rebuild, and lead.
Out For Good envisions communities that no longer judge people by where they’ve been, but celebrate them for where they’re going.

MOTHER OF A FELON

“You’re Not Forgotten. An Easter Message of Love”
You are not abandoned. You are not forgotten. You are deeply loved.
There is someone who saw every mistake you would ever make… and still chose to die for you.
Jesus didn’t wait for you to clean up your life before loving you. He stepped into your mess, carried your sins, and gave His life knowing your story in full. Not the polished version. The real one.
And He did it anyway.
His love isn’t based on your record. The world may reduce you to your worst decision, but Jesus never does. He sees the whole you—the pain, the potential, the purpose. The cross was proof that your past didn’t disqualify you. It made you worth saving.
He went all the way for you. Betrayed. Beaten. Mocked. Crucified. That wasn’t random—that was intentional. Every nail, every drop of blood, was love in action. He didn’t walk away. He stayed. For you.
You will never be forsaken by Him. People may leave. Family may grow distant. Friends may disappear. But Jesus made a promise He never breaks: He will never leave you nor forsake you. Even in a cell. Even in isolation. Even in your lowest moment—He is there.
You don’t have to carry it alone. The guilt. The shame. The regret. It’s heavy—I know.
But you were never meant to carry it by yourself. Scripture says to cast your cares on Him because He cares for you. That means you can release it. All of it. No filter. No pretending.
Start here, today: Talk to Him honestly—no perfect words needed. Release the weight you’ve been carrying.
Believe that His sacrifice included you. While other guys were beefing, sleeping, or wasting time, he was studying business. Reading money books. Making mistakes and learning from them.
This Easter isn’t just about what happened back then. It’s about what it means right now—for you. His death was your forgiveness. His resurrection is your new beginning.
Your story is not over. Not even close.
So lift your head. You are loved by a Savior who knew everything and chose you anyway. Let that truth settle in your heart. Let it change how you see yourself.
Because if He hasn’t given up on you, you don’t get to give up on yourself.
I believe in you.
With all my heart,

MOTHER OF A FELON

“The Unsung Leaders”
When people talk about strength, they often forget about us—the wives, the mothers, the sisters holding it all together while our loved ones are locked down. We are the ones managing households, raising kids, paying bills, showing up to court dates, navigating visits, and still finding the energy to keep moving forward. Quietly. Consistently. Powerfully.
Leadership doesn’t always come with a title. Sometimes it comes with responsibility you didn’t ask for—but rose to anyway.
I know this firsthand. I went from working as a Correctional Officer to standing tall as a Wife of a felon and CEO. I’ve seen the system from both sides of the wall.
I understand the weight families carry, and I understand the resilience it takes to keep going when everything feels stacked against you.
What this journey taught me is simple: leadership is about showing up. It’s about making decisions when you’re tired. About holding space for others while carrying your own grief.
About modeling strength for your children even when your heart feels heavy. That’s leadership. That’s power.
Wives of Felons are CEOs of their households. Strategists. Problem-solvers. Emotional anchors. We don’t get applause, but we keep things moving. We don’t always get support, but we still provide it. And even in moments of doubt, we rise—again and again.
This month, I want us to take up space. Our stories matter. Our strength matters. Our leadership matters. Not just despite the struggle—but because of it.
So if you’ve ever felt overlooked, unseen, or underestimated—let this be your reminder: you are leading through the storm. And that is something to be proud of.
Community Check-In: Sis, your story matters. Send me a line about how you’re leading your family through the storm. I want to highlight our voices this month and remind the world that prison wives are leaders—period.
BOOK OF THE MONTH

SCHMONEY Startup: How to Start a Business With AI
I was born a hustler. Not because it was cool. Not because I wanted to be. Because survival trained me early.
In pre-school, I was flipping 5-cent Bonkers bubble gum and Fire Balls for ten cents. By elementary school, I was selling shit I had no business touching—single Newports and Camels for a dollar a stick, blunt roaches I swiped from ashtrays for five, sips of Thunderbird and Night Train the wine heads at the corner store would grab for me as long as I had enough change to buy them a bottle too.
That change? Sometimes it came from my mama’s stash jar. Long days at the laundromat will turn a kid into a real quick creative.
Was I a bad-ass kid? Yeah.
But I was also one of the good ones.
I wasn’t chasing chaos—I was chasing control. I just didn’t have anybody pointing me in the right direction yet.
My mom—Fat Cheeks—was in recovery when she landed a decent-paying job in property management. Before that, the best job I remember her having was at Little Caesars.
That memory stuck because she used to bring pizza home every night, and when you grow up with nothing, that pizza felt like abundance.
Her husband, G, was also in recovery. They met in the Rooms—NA and AA. My wife built the blueprint, step by step, and made sure I had access to every part I could understand from in here — so when I came home, I wouldn’t be starting over… I’d be stepping into a strategy.
G worked construction, and when I say he was making money, I mean A LOT of money. I watched them go from nothing to something damn near overnight. I know now it took years of discipline and effort, but to a little kid, it looked like magic.
Fat Cheeks got me my first job around eight or nine. Mow-ing grass. Picking up trash. Painting empty apartments. “Helping” the maintenance man do nothing and still get paid. I’m pretty sure we violated a dozen child labor laws, but what I learned was priceless.
I did everything to earn a buck the legal way—because I wanted things. And things cost money. I was still hustling on the side, but not because I liked hanging out with wine-heads. I was addicted to making money on my own.
Like Lil Baby said: “I fell in love with the revenue.” I loved giving back, too. My uncles used to promise us go-karts, dirt bikes, and three-wheelers. None of them ever fixed a damn thing. I think that’s an uncle-nephew pan-demic.
So, when I got my money up, the first thing I bought was a brand-new…
HUSTLE AND INVEST

Here’s the Real Investing Playbook Most People Miss
Every investor is asking the same question right now:
“Is a big market correction coming?”
And if it is… what should you actually do with your money?
Should you keep investing every month like clockwork? Or should you sit on cash and wait for the “perfect” moment?
First, Let’s Ground This: No One Knows When the Drop Happens
Here’s the truth most people avoid:
Market corrections are guaranteed. Timing them is not.
Every single year, you’ll hear the market is about to crash, and sometimes… they’re right. But here’s what also happens: The market dips → then rallies.
The Smarter Approach: Do Both
Instead of choosing one extreme, seasoned investors do two things at once:
1. Consistently Fund Your Account
Keep adding money regularly—weekly, monthly, whenever you get paid.
This keeps you in the game.
2. Deploy Capital When Opportunities Show Up
Don’t just buy blindly.
Buy when:
✔Prices hit your target zones
✔Strong companies go on sale
✔Market conditions create opportunity
This is the balance most people miss.
Build Your “Hit List” Before You Need It
The best investors don’t react—they prepare.
What’s Actually Happening in the Market Right Now
We’re not in a clear bull market.
We’re not in a bear market either.
We’re in a range-bound, consolidating market.
That means:
✔Prices move up → then give it back
✔Breakouts fail
✔Momentum is inconsistent
In simple terms:
The market is undecided.
What Should You Actually Do Right Now?
Here’s the practical strategy:
✔ Buy Great Companies on Sale
When strong businesses drop into value zones—act.
✔ Trade Momentum (But Stay Controlled)
Take advantage of short-term moves, but don’t go all in.
✔ Stay Partially Active, Not Fully Exposed
Think in percentages, not emotions.
You don’t need to:
✔Go all in
✔Or sit completely out
✔The real edge comes from patience, preparation, and positioning.

FAMOUS & WORTHY

How To Turn Hospitality Into A Multi-Billion Dollar Business
From Passion to Precision
Eugene’s story doesn’t begin in a kitchen—it begins in the arts.
Raised in Washington, D.C., with a background in theater and performance, he was trained early to operate at a high level. His education wasn’t just academic; it was disciplined, competitive, and rooted in excellence.
Every year, you are required to re-audition.
Every moment demanded growth.
That foundation shaped how he sees business today. To him, success isn’t accidental—it’s rehearsed, refined, and executed with intention.
The Real Industry Isn’t Food—It’s Experience
Hospitality, at its core, is not about meals. It’s about moments.
Eugene describes it as a people business—one that blends psychology, service, and strategy. Every detail matters: how long a guest waits, how they’re greeted, how the food tastes, and even how the space smells when they walk in.
From infusing scents like rosemary and garlic into the air, to naming menu items with intention, to controlling…
FELON OF THE MONTH

This is the story of Hanif Johnson, a Pennsylvania ex-con. Before he ever became a judge, he stood in a courtroom in shackles and handcuffs. Not once—multiple times. By his own history, he had been jailed three times and faced charges including assault and harassment.
His early life didn’t make things easier. He grew up in a home surrounded by addiction, with multiple family members struggling, and at one point, eight people living in a two-bedroom space.
That kind of environment shapes you—but it doesn’t have to finish you.
Everything began to shift when he found track and field. What looked like just a sport became a turning point. He went on to become a state champion in the triple jump and later a team captain at Penn State.
But even then, his past didn’t disappear overnight.
He still faced arrests. He still had to fight cases in court—including one where he was found not guilty but still carried the weight of an arrest record that limited opportunities afterward.
Instead of letting that define him, he redirected his path.
After graduating, he worked with at-risk youth in his community.
That experience—and his own encounters with the justice system—pushed him toward something bigger: becoming part of the system he once stood against.
Here’s the part that surprises most people: In Pennsylvania, you don’t need a law degree to become a magisterial district judge—you need the people. So he ran.
People laughed. Doors were shut in his face. Many didn’t take him seriously. But conversation by conversation, he won them over.
And then—he won.
At just 27 years old, Hanif Johnson became the youngest judge in Pennsylvania’s history.
The same man who once stood before a judge now sits on the bench—bringing with him something many others don’t have: lived experience.
He understands what it feels like to be judged. He understands how small decisions can change a life. And now, he uses that perspective to serve his community with fairness and empathy.
This isn’t a story about perfection. It’s a direction story. Hanif Johnson didn’t erase his past—he outgrew it.
And that’s the message: Your record is real.
Your mistakes are real. But so is your ability to rise above them.

FIT & FOCUSED

The Discipline Behind the Dream
There’s a certain kind of hunger you can’t fake.
It’s not loud all the time. It doesn’t always look pretty. But it shows up—every single day—whether you feel like it or not.
Because at some point, you realize something: nobody is coming to save you.
It Starts With the Work
Every day, you’ve got to go through the steps. Not once.
Not when you feel motivated. Not when people are watching.
Every. Single. Day. You wake up and do the same things again and again—building habits, reinforcing discipline, putting rituals in place. It’s repetitive, sometimes exhausting, and often thankless.
But that’s the price.
Because confidence isn’t something you talk about—it’s something you earn.
There’s no room for excuses. Not where you’re trying to go. You want results? Then you commit to the process. You lock in. You stay focused. You block out distractions, even people, if you have to, because you care too much about where you’re headed.
MUSIC & MOTIVATION

What Did I Miss? - Drake
There’s a feeling in “What Did I Miss?” that hits deep—like you’ve been away, life kept moving, and now you’re trying to figure out where you fit again. That’s a reality a lot of prisoners and ex-felons understand better than anyone.
Time doesn’t pause. People change. Opportunities shift. And when you come home, it can feel like the world passed you by.
But here’s the real takeaway: you didn’t miss your chance—you just hit a delay.
The song captures that moment of reflection, of questioning what happened while you were gone. Instead of letting that turn into regret, use it as fuel:
Catch up, don’t give up. The world moved forward, so can you. Learn what’s new, build new skills, and stay adaptable.
Don’t compare timelines. Someone else’s progress isn’t your failure. Your path just looks different.
Stay focused on your lane. Looking back too much can keep you stuck. The real power is in what you do next.
For felons rebuilding their lives, the message is clear: your story didn’t end—it was only restricted. What matters now is how you move going forward. Every day out is a chance to close the gap and create something better.
You didn’t miss everything. You’re just getting started again—this time, wiser.

CREDIT OF THE MONTH

CREDIT GAME: THIS MONTH’S PLAYBOOK
Stop surviving. Start building.
Let’s be clear…Credit ain’t just numbers. It’s access. It’s leverage. It’s freedom. And if you don’t learn how to control it, it will control you. Here’s how we move smarter this month:
1. PAY ON TIME — NO EXCUSES
Late payments don’t just cost you money. They cost you an opportunity. Your payment history is your reputation. Protect it like your name.
2. CHECK YOUR CREDIT — DON’T BE IN THE DARK
You can’t fix what you don’t see. Pull your credit report. Look for errors. Challenge anything that doesn’t belong to you. That’s your file. Own it.
3. KEEP YOUR BALANCES LOW
Just because you can spend it… doesn’t mean you should. Stay under 30% utilization.
That’s how you show discipline—not desperation.
4. STOP APPLYING FOR EVERYTHING
Every application is a hit. Too many? You start looking risky. Move with intention—not impulse.
5. AUTOMATE YOUR PAYMENTS
Set it. Forget it. Stay consistent. This is how you move like a boss—systems over stress.
6. BE SELECTIVE WITH CREDIT
Not every offer is a good move. You’re not collecting cards—you’re building a financial profile.
7. BUILD A STRONG CREDIT MIX
Credit cards. Loans. Installments. This shows you can handle money from all angles. That’s power.
8. WATCH YOUR SPENDING
Your habits tell the story. Track your money. Respect your limits. Stay in control.
9. BUILD IT BACK IF YOU HAVE TO
If your credit is damaged, good. That means you have something to rebuild. Look into credit builder loans. Start small. Stack wins.
10. LEARN THE GAME OR GET PLAYED
Credit is a system. And systems reward people who understand them. The more you learn…the less they can finesse you.
FINAL WORD
We don’t chase money…we build structure.
We don’t beg for approval…we position ourselves for it.
This month, tighten up your credit.
Because when your credit is right…Doors open. Limits increase. Opportunities expand. And that’s how we go from surviving…to owning.
IYKYK WITH KY (PART I)

Pooh Shiesty x Gucci Mane
If you know, you know… the internet been going CRAZY with rumors about Pooh Shiesty and Gucci Mane. Allegedly, reports claim a studio situation turned into something way deeper involving a contract dispute, robbery, and pressure to sign paperwork. Now let’s be clear — none of this is officially confirmed. But one thing is real? When business and the streets mix, it never ends clean. Stay tuned… this story still unfolding. IYKYK.

U.S. Dollar Devaluation
In 1913, a dollar hit like $25 today. Now? That same dollar barely moves. That ain’t inflation… that’s erosion. Quiet, slow, strategic. The system don’t collapse loud — it shifts silently. That’s why smart people ain’t just stacking cash anymore… they stacking assets, skills, and leverage. Because if your money losing value while you sleep… you already behind. And if you know, you know… the dollar ain’t what it used to be. IYKYK

PART
Roma AI Government Proposal
Roma talking about putting an AI assistant in charge of government decisions? Yeah… an AI “mayor.” Sounds futuristic, but let’s be real — algorithms already run what you see, buy, and believe. Now they wanna run policy too? The question ain’t can AI lead… it’s who programmed it. Because whoever controls the code controls the power. And if you know anything about power… it don’t play fair. Guess what I am. IYKYK.

The Weeknd Billion-Dollar Move
The Weeknd just turned his catalog into a billion-dollar play. That’s not music… that’s ownership. While most artists chase streams, he locked in equity. Masters, licensing, long-term revenue. That’s how you flip art into assets. Same voice, same songs… different mindset. That’s the shift — creators becoming corporations. And if you know, you know… the real bag ain’t in performing… it’s in owning.
LIFE & LEGACY

How Life Insurance Builds Generational Wealth
Building generational wealth isn’t just about making money—it’s about protecting it, growing it, and passing it down. One of the most overlooked tools in our community is life insurance, and it can be a game-changer.
Life insurance creates instant wealth. If something happens to you, your family can receive a tax-free payout—often tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars. That money can pay off debts, cover living expenses, keep a business running, or even help your children start life ahead instead of from scratch. Instead of your family struggling, they’re supported.
There are two main types to understand. Term life insurance is affordable and covers you for a set number of years—it’s great for protection. Whole life (or permanent insurance) costs more, but it builds cash value over time.

PART
That means while you’re alive, you may be able to borrow against it for emergencies, investments, or business opportunities. Now your policy isn’t just protection—it’s a financial tool.
For families impacted by incarceration, this matters even more. Stability can be uncertain, so having a plan in place creates security and structure. If you’re on the inside, you can still guide your family to set this up. If you’re on the outside, you can take action now and build the foundation.
Generational wealth is about thinking ahead. Life insurance ensures your family doesn’t have to start over—it gives them a head start. That’s not just financial planning.
That’s love. That’s legacy. That’s breaking the cycle.

BOND OF THE MONTH

U.S. Treasury Bond
What Is It?
This is a bond backed by the U.S. government. Basically… you’re loaning money to the government, and they promise to pay you back with interest.
Why It Matters
This is one of the safest ways to grow your money.
It’s not flashy… but it’s consistent, reliable, and respected. This is how wealthy people protect their money while it grows.
How You Get Paid
You earn interest every 6 months
At the end of the term, you get your full money back
Example: You invest $1,000 → you get paid interest twice a year → then your $1,000 comes back at the end.
Risk Level: LOW RISK
Why? Because it’s backed by the U.S. government. This is about as solid as it gets.
Who This Is For
Beginners learning how money really works
People who want passive, predictable income
Anyone tired of losing money chasing fast plays
RFS Take
“Everybody wanna flip fast money… but real wealth is built slow and smart.
This is how you start moving like the people who keep money.”
Where To Find It
Investment apps like Fidelity, Charles Schwab, etc.
ENERGY OF THE MONTH

Natural Gas
Right now, gas is at the center of a global energy chessboard:
War-driven supply shocks are disrupting up to 20% of global LNG supply
The Middle East conflict is pushing higher energy prices + inflation globally
The U.S. is stepping in as a swing supplier, exporting record LNG volumes
Supply is increasingly concentrated in a few shale basins → fragility risk
Natural gas isn’t just energy anymore—it’s geopolitics + inflation + economic stability.
Boss Take: How to Play It
If you’re thinking like an investor, here’s the real game:
Trade the Volatility
Gas is weather + war + storage driven
Expect sharp swings → traders’ market, not passive investing
Own the Middlemen (Best Play)
LNG exporters (like Cheniere Energy) are the toll booths of global energy
They profit whether prices go up OR demand spikes
Watch These Catalysts
LNG export capacity expansions
Middle East / Russia disruptions
Winter demand (huge price driver)
Don’t Fall for the Trap
High production = price caps long-term
RAW MINERAL OF THE MONTH

Steel & Raw Materials
The steel industry underpins the global economy. It is deeply intertwined with other industries like automotive, construction, and energy, making it subject to risks and opportunities from multiple directions. Steel is like oil — price changes by location + demand.
What It’s Used For
Steel is the backbone of modern life. If it’s built, moved, or manufactured, steel is involved.
Construction (buildings, bridges, railways)
Automobiles (cars, trucks, trains)
Energy (oil rigs, pipelines, wind turbines)
Machinery & tools (factories, equipment)
Defense (ships, weapons, infrastructure)
No steel = no infrastructure, no economy. Simple.
Market Demand
Steel demand moves with global growth.
High demand when cities are expanding (Africa, Asia)
Huge push from renewable energy (wind turbines need massive steel)
EV boom = more specialized steel
Infrastructure spending (especially in the U.S., China, India)
Why Billionaires Are Investing Early
Infrastructure wave coming → Governments are spending trillions
Supply chain control → Owning mines + production = power
Billionaires aren’t just buying steel — they’re investing in mining operations, logistics (shipping, rail), and recycling (scrap steel = future gold).
Control the supply before demand explodes.
ROAD TO RECOVERY

There is a quiet, often confusing phase in recovery that few people prepare you for. It comes at a time when things are, on the surface, getting better. People begin to trust you again. They hand you responsibility. They rely on your word. They start to believe in who you are becoming.
But instead of feeling proud or confident, you feel unsettled.
Because while their trust is returning, yours hasn’t.
There is a gap—an internal hesitation that lingers beneath the progress. And it can make you question everything. If they believe in me, why don’t I believe in myself?
Most recovery conversations are centered on the external. They teach you how to rebuild relationships, how to make amends, and how to show up consistently and prove, through action, that you’ve changed. These are necessary steps. They matter deeply. But what often goes unspoken is the internal work—the slow, deliberate process of rebuilding trust with yourself.
And the truth is, without that inner foundation, even visible progress can feel unstable.
Self-trust is not restored the moment others start believing in you. In many ways, it actually begins long before that. It is formed in the quiet decisions. In keeping small promises. In doing what you said you would do, even when it’s inconvenient, even when no one would know if you didn’t. Over time, these repeated actions begin to reshape something internal. Not perfectly, not instantly, but steadily.
POWER & POLITICS

Tennessee Eases Voting Rights for Formerly Incarcerated People APRIL 3, 2026
In a significant shift that signals changing attitudes toward second chances, the state of Tennessee has rolled back major barriers that once prevented people with felony convictions from reclaiming one of their most fundamental rights: the right to vote.
For years, Tennessee enforced some of the strictest voting restoration laws in the United States. Individuals with felony convictions were required to pay off all court costs and fully settle child support debts before even being considered eligible to vote again. For many, especially those returning home with limited financial resources, this created a near-permanent barrier to civic participation.
But that is beginning to change.
Under a newly passed law signed by Governor Bill Lee, individuals no longer need to completely pay off these financial obligations. Instead, they can now demonstrate compliance, such as being on a payment plan or consistently making payments over time.
This reform is expected to impact approximately 184,000 people who were previously locked out of the democratic process.
This is bigger than voting. For many formerly incarcerated individuals, the denial of voting rights has long symbolized something deeper: continued punishment even after serving time. When a person cannot vote, they are effectively told they do not have a voice in the very system that governs their lives.
By easing these restrictions, Tennessee is acknowledging an important truth—reentry should come with restoration, not lifelong exclusion.
